Welcome to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare clan for mature gamers.
I've been playing FPS games since I saw the shareware version of Doom running on a 386 and
I was well and truly hooked. So hooked, in fact, that I went out and bought a PC to play
it on. Since then I've played as many 'Doom Clones' as I could. Heretic, Rise of the
Triads, Quake, Duke Nuke'em 3D, Half-Life and Medal of Honour to name a mere few. But,
apart from a drunken 15 minutes on Counter Strike, Call of Duty 4 is the only game to tempt
me to play online.
Mrs Baws on the other hand had never played a shooter until a few months ago. So, it's our
aim to have a server where you are welcome no matter what your skill level.
Tracker
Our server and its rules.
- We do NOT give away team mates' positions on voice comm and we expect
the same courtesy back.
- We prefer to play Hardcore. (Search and Destroy is our favourite, but you'll
find a real mix of game types on the server.)
- Grenade launchers are a pain. Any eejit can pick one up and fire it straight
into spawn so they are banned, I'm afraid.
- All other perks are fine. You are not a noob just because you choose martyrdom.
- Air strikes/Helicopters are hard to earn. Grenades can be avoided. You are therefore free to use them where and when you want.
- Glitching is another word for cheating. Mouse wheel fire is glitching because
it buggers with the balance of the weapons. Anything you wouldn't be able to run
along or stand on in real life (be it too narrow or too flimsy) is out of
bounds.
- Your enjoyment of the game should not be ruined by people crossing the line between banter and offensive remarks.

Our server rules are based round these.
Basically, I'd like to gather together a group of people who enjoy having a laugh and
playing the game sensibly.
A colleague of mine who goes by the name of Iksander plays in a PS3 community called 30up
and I see this server as being the PC equivalent of that.
We are recruiting players with a mature attitude who are willing to help make the site and
the server grow. We are a laid back group who listen to the opinions of our members.
